2026 Horoscope: The Foundation Of a New Era

Overview of 2026

2025 was wild in every way you could imagine with five major planets all changing signs in one year. These transits echoed out into the world creating reverberating change. It might have felt like everything was up in the air and definitely could have created a lot of fear. 

Well 2026 eases back in after some retrograde action that had us review some of the themes of the past decades before Uranus, Neptune and Saturn all returned to direct motion. This is when we will have all three planets in new signs, with a total of five planets all in new signs since 2025.

I was speaking to my grandma on the phone trying to explain to her in Spanish about planetary transits. I had a moment of clarity as I explained how a lot of the transits that are happening now occurred during Civil wars, revolutionary wars and WW2. 

But then I explained how after all these intense times a lot of the world banded together and created alliances so dictatorships could not reign again, technology advanced and social welfare flourished. This is because no longer was all the effort going into war and destruction.

So I feel the same thing, these transits will take place unfolding over the next few decades reshaping the world as we know it.

Yet we already have history as a teacher so we can decide to do  things differently. That is the power of astrology and the power of decision. 

Circumstances will keep presenting themselves until the dawn of time. We can choose to be peaceful, we can choose to be brave, we can choose to be happy despite anything.

So don’t worry, let's keep learning, enjoying and continuing with the intention of unity. Let us realize that we live on this beautiful earth in this body and aim to make the best of it for everyone.

Major Long Term transits

Uranus in Gemini- (Starts April 25, 2026, stays until 2033) – We experienced this transit during 2025. This brings innovation and progressive change (Uranus) to information, communication, media, the news, transportation, marketing and the local community environment.

This transit in history took place during the end of WW2 era, the civil war and the American revolutionary war.

Lunar Nodes change to Aquarius/Leo: (July 26, 2026 - March 26, 2028) – These signify more energy collectively going into creating a global community, independent networks and progressive change (Aquarius) We will be moving more away from focusing so much on the self and our own glory (Leo) to what is the highest good for us all (Aquarius.)

February 28: An uncommon alignment of planets including Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will form in the sky none of them will be in retrograde. Most of the planet will be in Pisces. This can spark a change for the years to come in terms of new beginnings and intention setting.

Neptune in Aries: (Jan 26 - May 21, 2038): We got a taste of this transit in 2025. Neptune, the planet of dreams, illusions, ideals and spirituality, enters the first sign of the zodiac to begin the cycle of a new era. 

Neptune was in Aries during 1961 to 1975 which coincided with the American civil war and many movements for independent (Aries) Ideals (Neptune)

Saturn Re-enters Aries: (Feb 13 - Apr 12, 2028):  This was also a transit in 2025 that we are experiencing again. Saturn in Aries is in detriment in this position, which means a weakened position. This brings a new beginning to the structure of society, law, government and leadership as it is the first sign of the zodiac.

Saturn was in Aries during the start of WW2. 

Saturn-Neptune Conjunction (February 20): These planets meet at 0 degrees Aries which starts off a new cycle for ideologies and the foundation of societies globally.

This transit has not been seen since 1989. During this time there was an ease in soviet control, the Berlin wall fell and it was the beginning of the crumbling of the USSR.

Jupiter in Leo: ( June 29th - July 25th 2027) Jupiter will be in Cancer for the majority of the year until it moves into Leo. Jupiter is the planet of faith, abundance, luck and expansion. In Leo opportunity and expansion comes through creative projects, performance, leadership, romance, recreation and play, games and self expression.

During 2026 the Mercury retrogrades will be in water signs. Mercury retrograde is a three week period of reflection as communication can break down and we have to sit with our minds.

Cancer: June 29 – July 23 ( Connecting to what feels safe and secure.)

Scorpio: Oct 24 – Nov 13 (revisiting intimacy, sex, power and transformation will be the themes for this one one.)

Venus Retrograde  (Scorpio & Libra): Oct 3 – Nov 13 (A review for love, values, money, attraction, relationships.)

 Jupiter Retrograde (Cancer): Jan 11 – Mar 11 (Delays to expansion and opportunity. Reflection on belief, perspective, faith and spirituality.)

Saturn Retrograde (Aries): July 26 – Dec 10 (Reviewing structure, boundaries, independence and achievement.)

Neptune Retrograde (Aries): July 7 – Dec 12 (Dreams and visions within, reassessing ideals and spirituality, deep and alive inner life.)

Pluto Retrograde (Aquarius): May 6 – Oct 16 (Reflecting on power dynamics, transformation, influence and freedom within society.)

Key Eclipses

Eclipses generate major new beginnings and endings that can last up to six months.

Solar Eclipse (Aquarius): Feb 17 (Aquarius North Node) This eclipse brings bright new beginnings and endings to do with originality, collective effort, the truth and visions for the future.

Lunar Eclipse (Virgo): Mar 3 (Virgo South Node) This eclipse can strengthen, break or test relationships having us become aware of our need for order, routine and service in our lives.

Solar Eclipse (Leo): Aug 12 (Leo South Node) This eclipse starts off a brand new cycle of beginnings and endings to do with creative self expression, romance, fun and games, leadership and courage.

Lunar Eclipse (Pisces): Aug 27 (Pisces North Node) This eclipse can strengthen, challenge or break relationships, having us become aware of our need to trust in a higher power, surrender and let go, accept our emotions and open our lives to unconditional love.
