February Horoscope 2025: You are a key player in the cosmic theatre

The overall tone for February involves a lot of energy that is focused on the transpersonal which involves society at large and that which is beyond the personal and interpersonal.

As with any month where there are New Moons and Full Moons and Mars going direct at the end of the month will bring a much-needed relief as projects and our desires can began to move forward, as in the retrograde it may have felt like these things came to a bit of a standstill or encountered a lot of obstacles.

Many planets will be in water signs for the later part of February, and this can mean a lot of deep intuitive, emotional energy but also the potential to get swept up by emotion and lose objectivity. In the beginning of February up to about February 14th the energy will be a lot more detached, social and objective with the Sun, Mercury and as well as Pluto all in Aquarius. (Pluto will remain in Aquarius for the next twenty years.)

Venus Conjunct Neptune

On February 1st, 2025, Venus the planet of love and relationships will join Neptune the planet of idealism and limitlessness, bringing a dreamy, magical and compassionate energy to relationships. We are perhaps more empathetic and open to others than usual. We could have an intuitive sense of what is going on with those around us.

It can be a time of forgiveness, kindness and unconditional love, it can be quite romantic. Yet we also are maybe prone to deception and seeing life through rose petaled glasses.

This can be a great time for anything artistic or creative getting out in nature or any spiritual practice.

Careful with your money as you may be prone to purchasing something that you regret later or not seeing clearly with your finances.

Venus in Aries

February 4th Venus enters Aries and will stay there until March 27th 2025.

Our recent transit of Venus in Pisces focused our love and social energy on acceptance, love, creativity, empathy and the emotional spectrum

We could have also felt helpless, pitying or victimized in our relationships. Perhaps we could have been evasive or even manipulative. We were more attuned to the psychic undercurrent in social situations.

Now with the planet of love and affection in the direct, impatient and intense fire sign Aries love and social interactions can be more passionate, to the point of even explosive. We could have more a "me first " attitude and if we are not careful, we could create a lot of conflict.

The thrill of the chase, conquest is the urge here, as well a fleeting desire that may die down as quickly as the flames roared. We value independent, assertiveness and adventure in relationships now.

It is quite a courageous and sexual energy.

Mercury Enters Pisces

Mercury enters Pisces on February 14th just in time to add a soft touch for Valentines Day. Mercury enters the sensitive and romantic sign Pisces. This adds compassion, love, empathy and imagination to the mind and speech.

Mercury is in detriment here so our thoughts can be a bit cloudy between wishful thinking and fantasy. We have to careful that we are not deluding ourselves or give into a victim mentality.

Overall, it makes our mind open to higher spiritual knowledge, art and creativity. Great for fantasy and creative writing or writing to do with any spiritual or philanthropic.

Mercury will leave Pisces April 7th 2025.

Mercury Square Jupiter

February 20th This transit can mean that we can overextend ourselves, get a bit cocky or straight up overconfident and reckless in our thoughts or communication. We could feel like we know it all and have intellectual superiority

If we push past this, we can expand and grow our minds which can open us to new opportunities. Great for promotion, teaching and sales. We may do well doing some research and examining our beliefs.  Communicating about the way we perceive the world.

The Sun Enters Pisces

February 20th The Sun enters Pisces and will be there until March 20th 2025.

Pisces is a water sign which is deep, emotional and seeking inner peace. Pisces specifically is the last sign of the zodiac able to adapt and flow to the tides of the universe and everything around it. It is the full emotional spectrum and contains higher knowledge of other worlds and of those around it. 

It is a sign of love, compassion and empathy able to turn into the feelings of those around it and give.

It can also when not operating at its highest be deceptive, secretive, manipulative, 

Self-pitying, an escapist and victimized 

These energies will affect and influence us for the next 20 days or so.

The New Moon in Pisces

On February 27th a new moon occurs in the sign of Pisces.  This serves as a cosmic reset for the next two weeks.

The new beginnings here are that of a Piscean nature. That is love, compassion, creativity, spirituality, letting go, the otherworldly, intuition and divine inspiration.

Pisces has one foot in this world and one in the next. How can you trust and surrender to the universe, allowing in the all the good things while simultaneously letting go of resistance to all of the discordant emotions as well.

Mars goes direct out of retrograde motion

On February 28th Mars stations direct in Cancer. Mars the planet of action and aggression has been retrograde since December 6th 2024 and has spanned through the signs of Leo and Cancer. 

During this time, it could have seen that obstacles have arose when we have tried to get anything off the ground. Pushing too hard forward to achieve could have led to frustrations and stress. Mars represented our warrior instinct our energy levels and drive. These things may have been debilitated, with less fuel and more caution to taking action.

Our libidos may have been lower as Mars rules the sexual instinct and anger and impulsive action may have blown up in our face.

It was a time of reflecting on our survival instincts and how we go about getting what we desire.

Old anger and conflicts from the past may have surfaced so we could work through them.

Mars direct signifies projects, goals can move forward slowly in the next two weeks, as well as matters to do with assertion, action, desire and personal power that were slowed down or at a halt during retrograde.
