May 1st Full Moon in Scorpio
A Full Moon is a time of revelation, epiphany and a completion of what occurred on the full Moon six months ago in Scorpio.
It highlights intimacy, transformation and letting go (Scorpio) This has to be balanced with grounding, stability and preservation (Taurus.). This process unfolds over the next two weeks.
May 3rd Mercury enters Taurus
The planet of communication and the mind enters a stable, balanced and practical Taurus. Our thought process may be more focused on resources, building, tranquility and enjoyment. Communication can be pragmatic, grounded and practical.
May 6th Pluto retrograde
Pluto will be retrograde for five months in Aquarius. Retrograde is a time of introspection on the planet's qualities, so matters of transformation, personal power, healing will go under review. Equality, freedom and social change is something also that we will be meditating on.
May 14th Sun conjunct Mercury
This is a very powerful day for communicating confidently and getting your message across clearly.
May 16th New Moon in Taurus
This begins a brand new two week cycle focused on all things Taurus: Grounding, practicality, stability, resources, finances, wealth, physical pleasure, food, comfort and luxury.
May 17th Mercury enters Gemini
The planet of communication and mind leaves grounded and practical Taurus and enters its home sign in quick witted and curious Gemini. Communication and thoughts are focused on intelligence, playfulness, fun, wit and multi-faceted nature. Great time for teaching, learning, speaking, journaling, writing and short distance traveling.
May 18th Mars enters Taurus
When Mars was in Aries action and aggressiveness was assertive, direct and courageous. With Mars in Taurus the will to action is motivated by resources, building and we may fight to protect our possession and values. This combination can make us quite slow to anger.
May 19th Venus in Cancer
When Venus was in Gemini love and affection, was light, playful and we may skim the surface. When Venus is in Cancer love is nurturing, imaginative, sensitive, healing and more focused on intuitive and subtle feelings. We may feel a need to care of others and this can be a creative time great for time for close connections with friends and family
May 21st Sun enters Gemini
When the Sun was in Taurus the spotlight was on grounding, gathering resources and tranquility. When the sun enters the air sign Gemini the focus becomes intelligence, curiosity, communication, mental and social connections and the intellect.
May 22nd Sun conjunct Uranus
This is a time where we may feel a lot more free spirited and not do too well with anyone telling us what to do. We have to be careful around authority figures as we may be especially rebellious. We can be more experimentative original and unusual at this time.
May 31st Full Moon in Sagittarius
Full Moons are a time of epiphany, revelation and expression. This Full Moon has us recognize a deep need for adventure, exploration and expansion. We need to look at the bigger picture, our beliefs, morals, ethics and see how everything fits into the cosmic scheme of things.
We must balance this with awareness of how the logical mind works and how all the little different pieces of the puzzle fit together.This process will unfold in the upcoming two weeks.
