March 2025 Horoscope: Contemplation and Synchronicities

In March the Sun is still passing through the mystical, emotional and compassionate water sign Pisces until March 19th where we have an opportunity to embrace our creativity, dream a new world, heal and release self sabotage.

This month there is an abundance of synchronicities, standstills and periods of reflection. Since the end of 2024 we have been going through retrogrades which are times of review. First Mercury retro, then Mars for two months, now Venus retrograde then Mercury looming ahead and we will come out of all retrogrades April 12th 2025.

I see this as the universe giving us some time to reflect, get our minds, desires, relationships and communication in check as a lot of major planets are changing this year which will affect the world on a global scale.

Two eclipses this month initiate changes for the next 3 to 6 months and Neptune changing sign after 14 years is not a small thing.

It is best to hold off from major decisions until After April 7th.

The Sun squares Jupiter: Confidence or overconfidence

March 1st the Sun squares Jupiter. This transit can have us overindulge, get cocky and perhaps even lazy, we can feel like we know it all.

If we use it constructively it can motivate us to identify with a vision which can push us to expand and grow and have more faith in the positive forces of life itself.

Venus Retrograde: Love and relationships under review

Venus also goes into retrograde on March 1st and will stay there until April 12th. Any retrograde serves as a time of reflection of the principles of that planet. It can often make the planet not operate on its highest level when It is going through its retrograde motion.

The introspection journey will be to do with Venus: Self worth, beauty, emotional bonds, love life, attraction, relationships and finances. All these things will be under review.

Venus in Aries retrograde has us reflect on our independence, passion, courage and strength in relationships.

Past relationships and lovers may show up again during a retrograde to give you a glimpse of how you have evolved and your values. Does not mean to get back with them.

It is best during the retrograde not to make anything official in relationships, make any major purchases or do any major beautification of the body. We may regret these things after the retrograde ends.

Mercury Conjunct Neptune: Head in the clouds

March 2nd  Mercury conjuncts Neptune in Pisces so our thoughts and communications can be full of compassion, intuition and imagination but we may not see things so clearly.

Mercury Enters Aries: Direct and pioneering communication

March 3rd Mercury the planet of speech and intelligence, enters Aries so the way we can communicate and think can become more direct, assertive and enterprising.

The Sun Conjuncts Saturn in Pisces: Dreams take a reality check

March 10th The Sun conjuncts Saturn in Pisces. A spotlight shines on self discipline, 

practicality, long term perspective and achievement on this day.

The question to ask is: How are you bringing your vision into reality? 

Will you let self sabotage and wishful thinking get in the way of solid concrete results and stability?

Watch out for being too hard on yourself or not seeing the forest for the trees.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo: A spotlight on relationships

On March 14th Full Moon lunar eclipse in Virgo. The two weeks prior to an eclipse can reveal to you hints of what this eclipse is about through synchronicities and omens.

A lunar eclipse is an emotional release. We will be purging the emotional gunk from the prior six months. It can break, challenge and test relationships and bring hidden material to the surface about ourselves and others. 

In Virgo this eclipse will reveal key information about our work, sense of service, routines, competence and health. We most likely will have revelations along these lines and circumstances will manifest that bring about information to do with these things.

This will manifest over the next three to six months depending on how we work through the material.

Mercury Retrograde: Resetting our mental programs

March 15th Mercury will go retrograde until April 7th. This is a time where the planet of communication and intelligence goes into reflective mode. It is a bit like hitting a reset button on your computer or phone. It is best to hold off major decisions or signing of documents until after the retrograde ends. 

Mercury retrograde can create delays or malfunctions to travel plans, technology and miscommunications. This is because the planet of the mind is operating more inwardly than outward mulling over thoughts and speech patterns.

With this retrograde in Aries we will reassess pioneering thoughts, and how assertive we are in communication. Miscommunications could arise from being too blunt.

The Sun Enters Aries: The pioneering warrior enters the scene

On March 20th  The Sun enters Aries switching from the watery deep, intuitive and imaginative influence of Pisces to the intense, adventurous and enterprising Aries energy.

This a time of new beginnings, innocence, passion, courage and independence. We also have guard against impulsiveness, argumentativeness, selfishness and arrogance.

Sun Conjunct Retrograde Venus: A new 10 month cycle for relationships

On March 22nd The Sun conjunct retrograde Venus in Aries:

This is called Venus Cazimi and represents a new beginning and highlight about our 

relationships, values, worth, money and tastes.

This process will most likely be more internal than external due to the retrograde.

It is the beginning of another 10 month cycle of Venus.

Venus Retrogrades into Pisces and Conjuncts Neptune: Reassessment of compassion in relationships

On March 26th Venus retrogrades into Pisces and conjuncts Neptune.

While Venus was in Aries we reflected on our values in regards to independence and enterprising energy in relationships.

With Venus in Pisces we reflect on our values regarding compassion, love and empathy in regards to others. With a conjunction to Neptune we could feel boundaries dissolve, a sense of divinity and beauty in the imperfections of others as well as ourselves.

On March 29th Mercury retrogrades into Pisces and conjuncts Neptune

Mercury retrograde in Aries had us reflect on our communication patterns and thoughts in relation to independence, assertiveness and courage.

With Mercury in Pisces retrograde we will be reassessing intuition, sensitivity and imagination in relationship to our thinking and communication patterns.

With a conjunction to Neptune this day could mean we want to go with the flow but we could also become completely spaced out and irrational.

Good idea to have some structure and stay grounded. Not the best day for drugs or alcohol. Good for meditation, nature, poetry, music  and the arts.

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries: The courage to live how you want

On March 29th there is a new moon solar eclipse in Aries. This is the second eclipse this month that marks major beginnings and endings. Something has to end for something new to begin. This could mean a new lifestyle, a new job, career change, relationship etc..

What has been hidden about our purpose and direction will be brought to the surface. The next three to six months it may feel a bit like we are walking through the dark and events may feel fated.

This eclipse has to do with Aries: independence, courage, willpower, assertiveness, passion, action and adventure. Synchronicities and events can arise to incorporate these qualities into our lives.

Neptune enters Aries: To become a spiritual warrior

On March 30th Neptune enters Aries. This is a major planetary body moving sign, one of the five major planets changing signs in 2025.

Neptune is the planet of humanities ideals, spirituality and transcendence. For the 14 years it was in Pisces this transcendence and ideal was through being open to higher dimensions of consciousness, unity, imagination and compassion.

From 2012 when it entered until now I can say that new age spirituality, metaphysics such as astrology, tarot etc. has become more mainstream. All you who have promoted and practiced these things have created this change.

With Neptune in Aries until 2039 the way to transcendence and the ideal will be branching off on your own path, being courageous and living as a spiritual warrior.

We could see a rise of ideologies and spirituality around this phenomenon. Instead of fighting those outside ourselves it is fighting to transcend our own self importance and negativity within our mind.

It is being impeccable in this way that for the next 14 years we can create unity, unconditional love and bliss.

Some may take it and develop spiritual arrogance, others will fight over ideologies. It is important not to get caught up in all the drama and stay true to your own inner quest.
