March Horoscope

March starts off with Mars switching from Aquarius into Pisces and the closing of the eclipse portal as there is a lunar eclipse on the 3rd in Virgo. Venus also switches signs in Aries on the 6th. There is a New Moon in Pisces and The Sun enters Taurus.

Mercury is retrograde for the majority of this month having us reflect on communication and information exchange. It is not the best time for making major decisions and we must think clearly before we speak, double check any written documents or messages as there can be errors and communications. Friends could become more distant and there can be delays related to travel, the mail and technical breakdowns. Mercury leaves retrograde on the 20th.

On the 30th Venus  the planet of love is happy to enter grounded, calm and peaceful Taurus.

Venus is at home in Taurus.

March 2nd Mars enters Pisces

The planet of action, strength and sexuality enters Pisces which is sensitive, intuitive, compassionate and magical. This combination points to the courage to fight for those less fortunate, actions fueled by intuition and passion for the arts and spirituality. This is the transit for the spiritual warrior yet it can also make us prone to self sabotage, escapism and passive aggression if we do not channel our energies in the right direction.

March 3rd Lunar Eclipse in Virgo

Lunar Eclipses clear the emotional debris from the previous six months and has effects for up to the next six months. It is a time of testing, breaking and strengthening in relationships. Eclipses have a way of revealing secrets about people and situations. The Virgo Eclipse helps us let go of criticism against others or ourselves as well  any blocks to routines, health and work and unbalances related to these life themes.

March 6th Venus enters Aries

The planet of love, attraction and values enters independent, courageous and fiery Aries. We can be more headstrong and excited about the chase in relationships. We may get bored easily and crave challenge, adventure and strength in our relationships. This placement is in detriment so fighting, impulsive decisions and arguments we have to watch out for.

March 7th Sun conjunct Mercury

This is a very powerful time for communication and sending a clear message. We must double check and be careful and be cautious with our communication as Mercury is in retrograde.

March 7th Venus conjunct Neptune

This can be a new beginning of romance, compassion, beauty, spiritual insights and healing. We may look at others through rose petaled glasses.

March 8th Venus conjunct Saturn

A day after the boundless Neptune transit we have Saturn the planet of boundaries and restrictions joining with Venus the planet of love and attraction. This can a day where we take a very realistic look at our relationships, connections and finances. We can have more discipline and sober outlook yet can also get bogged down in pessimism and doubt if we are not careful.

March 11th Jupiter goes direct

Jupiter has been retrograde over the course of months where our faith was more inward and we reflected on our beliefs, perspectives and opportunities. Now matters of growth, abundance, spirituality and higher knowledge can begin to move forward in the world of external events.

March 15th Mercury conjunction Mars

Communication can be intense, brave and passionate on this day. We can be intellectually competitive, out spoken and even aggressive and impulsive with our speech if we are not careful.

March 19th New Moon in Pisces

A new beginning takes place along the lines of all things Pisces unfolding over the next two weeks; This includes creativity, spirituality, unity, compassion, forgiveness, unconditional love and sanctuary.

March 20th The Sun enters Aries

When the Sun was in Pisces the focus was on the full spectrum of feelings, oneness and letting go. When the Sun enters Aries for the next thirty days the focus will be on action, independence, assertiveness, strength, leadership, self awareness, honesty and adventure. 

We have to be careful of bullying, impulsiveness, aggression and argumentativeness.

March 20th Mercury direct

Mercury is now leaving retrograde after three weeks of reconnecting with friends from the past, potential mis-communications, mind fog, technical errors and equipment breakdown, delays and confusion. Matters of decision making, communication and information exchange can begin to move forward and reach clarity.

March 22nd Sun conjunct Neptune

The highlight for the day can be on letting go, going with the flow and compassion. 

We also might not see ourselves clearly due to the illusionary nature of Neptune.

March 25th Sun conjunct Saturn

In comparison to the mystical nature of the Sun conjunct Neptune three days ago we now have the sobering influence of the Sun conjunct Saturn. Saturn the planet of responsibilities, limits and grounding is the highlight for the day. This is a time to set our sights on the long term perspective, to tackle responsibilities and look reality in the eye.

We have to be cautious of not overwhelming ourselves or getting too caught up in any restrictions placed on us.

March 30th Venus enters Taurus

Venus leaves passionate, intense and combative Aries and enters grounded and enduring Taurus. Venus, the plane of love and attraction, is right at home in Taurus. Here love is grounded, stable and sensual at its highest and greedy, possessive and stubborn at its lowest. 

We are more attracted to security, pleasure, simplicity, physical comforts and what is solid during this time. This is a great time for getting your finances together, investing, saving and assets.
