New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries: The Courage to be who you Are

Neptune went into Aries yesterday after staying in Pisces since 2012 which you can get more information about in my blog.

And this partial Solar eclipse is taking place at 9 degrees Aries. This is the last eclipse, the most recent one was on March 13th in Virgo.

This has been an intense time full of uncertainty, synchronicities and release. Sounds like an adventure to me! Solar eclipses bring major new beginnings and endings, it can signify a new career, lifestyle, relationship change or a move. In the few weeks leading up to an eclipse there can be a lot of fateful encounters, secrets exposed and mysterious subtle changes to give hints on what the Eclipse will be about. On the days leading up to an eclipse the energy can be very intense and on the day of it can feel quite intense but powerful.

This eclipse has affects for up to six months from now.

It is best to stay grounded as this one is in Aries as Aries rules battle, conflicts, anger and impulsive actions as well. We could do something we regret so emotional regulation and grounding are key.

A story that relates to this example is how I was treated a the at the DMV in San Jose on the 28th of March by a security guard and after went to a family friendly beach in Santa Cruz, California. I watched the situation escalate from the parking lot but I witnessed a man threaten his drunk friend with weapons. He got caught and mostly likely will end up in jail for quite a while.

I saw this as a explosive extreme example and synchronicity of what four impulsive planets in Aries leading up to an eclipse could manifest as if left unchecked. Actions that you could regret later. Don't be like drunk guy or arms wielding friend. Deep breaths. Center.

Eclipses have a way of having us feel out of control, as if we are walking in the dark and there is an unseen force leading the way. Circumstances could arise in the next six months that push us in the direction of Aries principles. That is a new beginning, independence, moving forward in the face of fear, pioneering into the unknown, embodying the warrior and willing to walk straight into necessary conflicts. We are encouraged to go after what we want because we are living for ourselves no one else.

Honesty, innocence, faith, confidence, strength, willpower, courage and adventure are the qualities that can begin to manifest in our lives through the twists and turns ahead. This eclipse joins with Mercury retrograde in Aries further asking us to think carefully before we lash out in anger in our speech and to choose our battles carefully. Mars is in sextile to Uranus and Saturn can grant opportunities for breakthroughs and constructive success if we take action and are courageous.
