September Horoscope: The Gateway of the Eclipses

In September we have two eclipses a lunar eclipse on the 7th and the 21st which have lasting effects for the following six months as well as the following planets changing signs:

Saturn re-enters Pisces September 1st

Mercury enters Virgo September 2nd

The Sun enters Libra on September 22nd

Mars enters Scorpio September 22nd

September 1st Uranus in Gemini Sextile Neptune in Aries, Uranus trine Pluto and Neptune sextile Pluto

As you may have noticed technology such as Ai has advanced learning, teaching and information exchange (Gemini) which resonates with Uranus in Gemini, revolution (Uranus) of transport such as flying cars and also a part of this equation, the sextile to Neptune has enhanced ideas of visions of independence which has been pushing forward this information revolution.

Uranus trine Pluto furthers enhances transformation to technology, truths emerging through social connections and independent knowledge that give more power back to the people.

Neptune sextile Pluto turns spirituality, art and compassion into a force that could shift humanity.

The planetary energies are rising and they are in favor of people coming together.

September 1st Saturn Re-enters Pisces

Saturn left Pisces at the end of March 2025 and before that Saturn transited this sign for two and half years. Saturn will go back into Aries on February 15th 2026.

Saturn re-enters Pisces to have to us reflect on our  and karma to do with love, spirituality, giving, sabotage and escapism.

This is a time where we review the solidity of our spirituality, the limits to giving and cut out  that which sabotages our efforts.

Mercury in Virgo September 2nd until September 18th

Mercury is strong in Virgo. Our minds can be more precise, conversations can be more intelligent and to the point, we can be more rational and logical and our thought process is more focused on analysis and improving things.

We have to be careful about getting lost in the details, being overly critical and worried.

September 3rd Mercury square Uranus and Mars square Jupiter

Eccentric, disruptive communication, thought patterns, potential for flashes of insight, genius. It takes some work to access this positive potential with this transit instead of lapsing into self centered and in-sensitive thinking.

Mars square Jupiter potential for overconfidence in actions, over- extending oneself, overall this can challenge us to have more faith in achieving, expressing our beliefs with force and enhancing our adventurous spirit.

Uranus goes retrograde and re-enters Taurus

Uranus goes retrograde in Gemini and continues it retrograde where it re-enters the previous sign Taurus on November 7th 2025. On February 3rd 2026 Uranus will go direct and come out of retrograde.

Uranus retrograde is when we re-assess and reflect inwardly on our individuality, independence, freedom, originality, genius and that part of us that does not like to be told what to do or conform. We will reflect on the originality of mind, the innovation in education and travel and our inventive collective intelligence .

Lunar eclipse in Pisces September 7th

Lunar eclipses are mega Full Moons and can break, test and strengthen relationships.

What has been hidden (secrets) will be revealed. The emotional debris from the previous six months will be cleared over the next six months.

This Moon will bring to light things of a Piscean nature: The full spectrum of emotions, love, compassion, imagination, spirituality and trusting in the universe.

Our confidence can be boosted by circumstance, and people that provide perspective or share some wisdom on life. Opportunities, prosperity and faith can increase at this time as well.

September 13th Sun conjunct Mercury

A very important time for communication moving forward.

We can become clearer in our thoughts and communicate more confidently at this time.

September 15th Venus sextile Mars

Can bring attraction and destiny together, for those that are single it can provide opportunities to act on your desires in relationship, be a bit more magnetic or improve existing relationships creating more passion. We also have to watch out for creating conflict.

September 17th Mercury opposite Saturn

We could feel that opposing circumstance is adding restrictions/pessimism/doubt to our thinking and communication. This influence can push us to be more realistic practical and business like in communication and thought.

September 18th Mercury enters Libra until October 6th Mercury opposite Neptune

Mercury the planet of communication exiting analytical Virgo and entering balanced and refined Libra adds tact, diplomacy and harmony to our conversations and thought patterns, finding the perfect balance between oneself and others.

After the more grounding practical energy of Mercury opposite Saturn the previous day, this transits reminds us find the balance between harmony and having our own independent visions and dreams.

September 19th Mercury trine Uranus and Pluto

From the 17th through the 19th many aspects are influencing the planet Mercury (Communication, rational thought patterns, intelligence.) Mercury trine Uranus brings a flow of genius, originality to our thought and speech, we may cut people off in the middle of conversations if we are not careful. A trine to Pluto can make it easier to let go of negative thinking and be persuasive with others, careful not to use your words to manipulate.

September 20th Sun opposite Saturn and Venus square Uranus

There can be restrictions to our efforts coming from circumstance. This influence can also push us to be more responsible and focus on long term perspective.

Venus square Uranus can bring excitement to relationships, we want to break the rules a bit, we could be insensitive to others. I would be careful with impulsive behavior as this can be a negative symptom of this transit and can affect relationships and finance (a Venus ruled activity)

Solar eclipse in Virgo September 21st

A Solar eclipse is a mega new moon and a new beginning as well as a time of significant endings.

This could signify a new job, relationship, career, move, a lifestyle transition yet a sacrifice had to made of something in our lives that no longer serves us in order to receive this opportunity for a new beginning.

These changes can las will last up to three to six months months and will be a new beginning to do with Virgo themes such as: Service, routines, purity, diet, exercise, organization and planning.

September 22nd 2025 The Sun enters Libra

The Sun shines a light on the air sign Libra for the next 30 days highlighting lessons to do with relationships, balance, harmony, consideration, peace, justice and detached compassion.

We have to guard against laziness, indecision, passive aggressiveness and superficiality.

September 23rd Sun trine Uranus, Pluto Sun opposite Neptune, Mars square Pluto

A great deal of aspects to the Sun take place which affects confidence and ego. Originality (Uranus) and personal power (Pluto) affects our confidence and self-expression (The Sun), as well as bit of having to balance harmony with others with our own independent ideals.

Mars square Pluto in a challenging aspect means we have to be careful of ruthless actions, power struggles and/or obsession with power on this day. This energy can also be channeled toward tremendous willpower, total transformation of desires and courageous action.

Mars enters Scorpio September 22nd until November 4th

When  Mars was in Libra our warrior spirit and drive to action was orientated toward peace, harmony, relationships, art, peace and negotiation.  We could have acted courageously in regards to justice and fought for peace.

When Mars enters Scorpio it is at home here. Our drive to action is fueled by deep feelings and passion. Our willpower and perseverance can increase in the face of obstacles, and we could desire dominance, depth, mystery, power and intensity of experience.

We have to guard against ruthless actions and looking at the world through a black or white lens.
